Service Pak 519 June 2002K===========================================================================FNOTE: Service Paks 1 through 4a are not required if you are installingEService Pak 5, because Service Pak 5 also includes all of the updates'contained in the previous Service Paks.FFor cluster installations: This Service Pak is cluster aware. You needFonly install the Service Pak on one node, and it will propagate to all8other nodes. You do not need to install it on each node.*** Prerequisites ***,WEBES version 4.0 must already be installed.DTo identify your version, refer to the version information initiallyIdisplayed by the Compaq Analyze web interface, or inspect the contents ofthe text file: SVCTOOLS_HOME:[WEBES]RELEASE.TXTJIt does not matter if the Director or any WEBES processes are running whenFthe update is installed, but be aware that all running WEBES processes$will be shut down during the update.*** Installing the Update ***)Follow these steps to install the update:G 1. Download the file WEBES_V40SP4ABLn_OPENVMS.EXE to any directory on, your OpenVMS system. (n = build number)B 2. Log in as the "system" user, or a user with at least the same1 privileges as the user that installed WEBES.C 3. "set default" to the directory containing the downloaded file.D 4. Verify that your current directory is NOT a searchlist logical.E Note that the default login directory for the SYSTEM account is H usually defined by a searchlist logical, pointing to more than one directory, such as: $ show default SYS$SYSROOT:[SYSMGR] = SYS$SYSROOT:[SYSMGR] = SYS$COMMON:[SYSMGR]H If your current directory (containing the SP file) is a searchlist,H "set default" to the single directory containing the file, which isG usually the first directory in the searchlist, as in this example: $ show logical SYS$SYSROOT? "SYS$SYSROOT" = "HOST$DKB100:[SYS0.]" (LNM$SYSTEM_TABLE) = "SYS$COMMON:"J 1	"SYS$COMMON" = "HOST$DKB100:[SYS0.SYSCOMMON.]" (LNM$SYSTEM_TABLE), $ set default HOST$DKB100:[SYS0.SYSMGR] 5. Run the file by typing:$ RUN WEBES_V40SP5BLn_OPENVMS.EXEJ 6. The set of update files will be unzipped to the current directory and( a new subdirectory [.WEBES_V40SP5].E 7. Start the update by typing (executing the newly unzipped command file): @WEBES_UPDATE$ 8. Follow the prompts that appear.J 9. When the WEBES_UPDATE command program finishes, the update completes,= the directories of unzipped files are deleted as well as9 WEBES_UPDATE.COM, and the Director process restarts.I 10. Delete the downloaded file if desired; it is no longer needed. Type:& DEL WEBES_V40SP5BLn_OPENVMS.EXE;*CThe update may be safely installed more than once, but only once is	required.*** Verifying the Update ***DUser verification is not required, but if desired, you can enter the5following at the command prompt to verify the update:( TYPE SVCTOOLS_HOME:[WEBES]RELEASE.TXT@You should see the words "Service Pak 5" below the WEBES versioninformation.DIf you have installed the Compaq Analyze portion of WEBES, log on toJCompaq Analyze using the web interface. In the display frame on the right,Eunder the Compaq Analyze logo, you should see the version information$including the words "Service Pak 5".%*** Uninstalling and Reinstalling ***EUninstalling WEBES V4.0 also uninstalls all Service Pak files. If you8reinstall WEBES V4.0, reinstall the Service Pak as well.*** For More Information ***HThe history of Service Pak updates applied to your system since the last2full WEBES kit installation is stored in the file: SVCTOOLS_HOME:[WEBES]UPDATES.TXT=The changes made by the Service Pak can be found in the file:-SVCTOOLS_HOME:[DOCS]README_V40SP5_DETAILS.TXTAA new version of the Compaq Analyze Release Notes can be found insubdirectories of:SVCTOOLS_HOME:[CA.DOCS]8A new version of the CCAT Release Notes can be found in:8SVCTOOLS_HOME:[CCAT.DOCS.TXT]CCAT_RELEASE_NOTES_AVMS.TXTK===========================================================================:Copyright 2002 Compaq Information Technologies Group, L.P.ICompaq, the Compaq logo, and OpenVMS are trademarks of Compaq InformationFTechnologies Group, L.P. in the United States and other countries.
