The PAK is a paper E               certificate that contains information about the licenseRF               that enables you to use the software. The License PAK isG               shipped with the kit if you ordered the license and media E               together; otherwise, the PAK is shipped separately to a 7               location specified on your license order.a  C               If you are installing Digital PHIGS as an update on a A               node or cluster already licensed for this software, E               you have already completed the License PAK registration A               requirements. If you are installing prerequisite or_D               optional software along with Digital PHIGS, review theF               PAK status and install the PAKs for this prerequisite orA               optional software before you install Digital PHIGS.   E               To register a license under the OpenVMS Alpha operating C               system, first log in to the system manager's account,iE               SYSTEM. When you specify REBOOT,i@           AUTOGEN performs an automatic system shutdown and thenC           reboots the system. If you do not want to take advantage ofI               this automatic adjustment, include the NOFEEDBACK qualifier *               on the AUTOGEN command line.  G               For more information about using AUTOGEN, see the OpenVMS_'               System Management Subkit.   %         1.5.4 Other System Parametersw  B               The installation for Digital PHIGS requires that youF               increase the values of the CLISYMTBL and CTLPAGES system@               parameters. Once the installation is complete, youB               can decrease these values to ensure efficient system               performance.  !         1.5.5 User Account Quotash  I               To use Digital PHIGS, you must have an account with an openrH               file limit (FILLM) of at least 20. In addition, if you areI               using the Ada binding, the FILLM should be set to 2000, andg1               the BYTLM should be set to 200,000.   B               Using the OpenVMS Authorize Utility (AUTHORIZE), youE               can compare the current values of these quotas with theoE               requirements for Digital PHIGS. The account used in ther6               following example is the SYSTEM account:  /               $ SET DEFAULT SYS$SYSTEM <Return> &               $ RUN AUTHORIZE <Return>'               UAF> SHOW SYSTEM <Return>b  B               To change the values of these quotas, use the MODIFYC               command.
