This value must be included in storage calculations. The block sizes given refer to approximate values; the actual sizes can vary depending on user's system environment, config- uration, and software options selected. In general, the values given here are slightly higher than the actual values. Sites that install VWS on a system running the DECwindows soft- ware will follow the path of a cluster installation. Clustered systems must add in both the Monochrome and Color/Grey scale font values when adding up the number of blocks necessary. With the exception of the VWS/DECwindows Server which requires VWS, the VWS Migration Tools Kit does not require VWS be in- stalled and will run on any VMS system. To run HCUIS and/or SIGHT on VAXuisx, the VWS and SIGHT fonts must be installed. Native VWS/UIS does NOT support the VS3100 SPX Color Graphics Accelerator. This support is provided through DECwindows and VAXuisx. VWS/UIS does NOT support the VAXstation 3520 and VAXstation 3540. These workstations are supported through DECwindows and VAXuisx. SIGHT, HCUIS, VAXuisx, UISANN and UISCNV are all part of the common VWS043 Installation Guide. To install these products, (VWS043.A) is required. HCUIS no longer requires a workstation to run. No Software License is required to install and run the VWS Migration Tools Kit. OPTIONAL HARDWARE 8 The following workstation-specific hardware is supported: LA50, LA100, LA75, LA210, LA324, LN03, LN03R, LN03-PLUS, LVP16, LCP01, LCG01, LJ250, PrintServer 40, HP7475[R], HP7550[R], HP7580[R], HP7585[R], the Apple LaserWriter[TM], and the LASER- GRAPHICS MPS-2000[TM].
