Total Disk Space Requirements for VAX SLS Software: Execution of VAX SLS software requires 3,500 blocks (the num- ber of blocks occupied by VAX SLS software itself) plus one block for every piece of media it manages plus one block for every six files it tracks. Example: Assume there are 1,500 pieces of media under man- agement by VAX SLS software and 60,000 files are tracked. The disk space required is: VAX SLS software: 3,500 blocks Media database: 1,500 blocks History files: 10,000 blocks TOTAL 15,000 blocks (7.7 Mbytes) Total Disk Space Requirements for VAX SLS REMOTE Software: Execution of VAX SLS REMOTE software requires 2,900 blocks (the number of blocks occupied by VAX SLS REMOTE software itself) plus one block for every six files it tracks.
