Other Hardware Required

For an IEEE 802.4 connection:

      A valid Q-bus (DTQNA-B*) controller

For an IEEE 802.3 connection:

      A DEUNA or DELUA for operation on a UNIBUS based VAX, or BI-VAX with the 
      appropriate UNIBUS adapter

      A DEBNA for operation on a BI-bus based VAX

      A DEQNA or DELQA for operation on a Q-bus based VAX

      A DESVA for operation with a MicroVAX 2000 or VAXstation 2000

Memory Required:

The VMS Operating System and VAX DEC/MAP V3.0 products together require 4.0 MB 
of physical memory. See the VMS Operating System Software Product Description 
(SPD 25.01.xx) for additional memory required when other components are to be 
installed on a VMS system.

Block Space Requirements (Block Cluster Size = 1):

Disk space required for installation:				   9,200 blocks
								 (4,710K bytes)

Disk space required for use (permanent):			   6,000 blocks
								 (3,072K bytes)

These counts refer to the disk space required on the system disk. The sizes are 
approximate; actual sizes may vary depending on the user's system environment, 
configuration and software options.

CLUSTER ENVIRONMENT*

This layered product is fully supported when installed on any valid and 
licensed VAXcluster* configuration without restrictions. The HARDWARE  
REQUIREMENTS sections of this product's Software Product Description and System 
Support Addendum detail any special hardware required by this product.

*     V5.x VAXcluster configurations are fully described in the VAXcluster 
      Software Product Description (SPD 29.78.xx) and include CI, Ethernet and 
      Mixed Interconnect configurations.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

VMS Operating System V5.1 - V5.2

VMS Tailoring

For VMS V5.x systems, the following VMS classes are required for full 
functionality of this layered product:

oo     VMS Required Saveset.

oo     Network.

oo     Programming Support.

oo     System Programming Support.

oo     Utilities.
