          Dear DECview3D user,

          Enclosed is the new version of DECview3D. Please take
          a moment to read the following information before
          installing the DECview3D Version 2.1 software.

          Release Note Information

          The release notes for DECview3D Version 2.1 contain
          information on known restrictions. You can locate them
          after installing DECview3D by entering the following
          command:

               $HELP DECVIEW3D RELEASE_NOTES

          Key New Features

          o  Improved IGES translator adds support for additional
             entities.

          o  Application Command Line option.

          o  Ability to create, edit, and replay DECview3D
             sessions through Script files. This feature is
             useful for commonly repeated tasks such as batch
             file translation.

          o  Custom settings can now be stored in DECview3D
             initialization files so that they are automatically
             defined at the start of each session.

          o  Mouse support on VT300-series terminals. On
             VT200-series terminals and VT300-series terminals
             with no mouse, user interaction occurs through the
             Application Command Line interface only.

          o  Entity blanking for clarifying complex graphics
             displays.

          o  Analysis of distance between part entities.

          o  Color PostScript and Encapsulated PostScript formats
             are supported.
