This document contains information and procedures for installing Compaq SANworks Command Scripter 
version 1.0A on Compaq OpenVMS. The information in this document is current as of the release date and 
is subject to change.

This document is divided into two sections:

Section I: Command Scripter 1.0A Installation Instructions
Section II: Instructions for Uninstalling Command Scripter 1.0A

Section I: Command Scripter 1.0A Installation Instructions
This section describes requirements and procedures for installing Command Scripter 1.0A on a host system 
running OpenVMS.

A. System Requirements
--To install Command Scripter 1.0A on OpenVMS, you will need an account with system privileges.
--Command Scripter 1.0A is installed from SCRPT10VMS.EXE. Specify the location from which to run 
the executable file if other than the default location. 
--Before installing SANworks Command Scripter 1.0A, ensure Command Scripter 1.0 has been installed 
on the system. Command Scripter 1.0A will not install independently of Command Scripter 1.0.

B. Command Scripter 1.0A Installation
1. At the system prompt, type  
run SCRPT10VMS.EXE
A .pcsi file is created:
--If a .pcsi file already exists on the system, select [y]es to replace the file.
--If a .pcsi file does not exist on the system, the following message displays:
inflating: Compaq-axpvms-cpqcmdscr-v0100-66a-3.pcsi

2. At the system prompt, type  
product install cpqcmdscr
Press ENTER.
The following message displays:
Do you want to continue? 
Press ENTER.

3. During the configuration phase, a series of questions displays. Accept the default answers.
After you have answered the questions, the following message displays:
Execution phase starting . . .

4. Command Scripter 1.0A installs.
The following message displays:
The following product has been installed:
COMPAQ AXPVMS CPQCMDSCR v1.0-66A

Section II: Instructions for Uninstalling Command Scripter 1.0A
1. From the system prompt, type 
product remove CPQCMDSCR
2. Command Scripter 1.0A uninstalls.
