The Installation Guide contains a number of figures that are no
          longer correct:

o The Installation Guide states that BEFORE you install WPS-
PLUS software on the system disk, you must have 27,000 free
             blocks available on this disk.

This is incorrect. The up-to-date figures are 28,000 free
blocks needed BEFORE installation on the system disk.

o The Installation Guide states that AFTER installation, WPS-
PLUS software uses 22,000 blocks on the system disk.

This is incorrect. The up-to-date figures are that AFTER
installation, WPS-PLUS software uses 23,000 blocks on the
             system disk.

o The Installation Guide states that BEFORE you install WPS-
PLUS software on an alternate disk, you must have 16,000 free
blocks available on the alternate disk.

This is incorrect. The up-to-date figures are 20,500 free
blocks needed BEFORE installation on the alternate disk.

o The Installation Guide states that AFTER installation, WPS-
PLUS software uses 6,000 blocks on the system disk and 16,000
             blocks on the alternate disk.

This is incorrect. The up-to-date figures are that AFTER
installation, WPS-PLUS software uses 4,000 blocks on the
system disk and 20,500 blocks on the alternate disk.

o This Installation Guide states that the linguistic components
of WPS-PLUS software require an additional 1,200 blocks on
the disk you install them on.

This is incorrect. The up-to-date figure are the linguistic
components of WPS-PLUS software require an additional 1,500
blocks on the disk you install them on.

          Installation Verification Procedure (IVP)

The following text replaces the contents of paragraph 4.1 (Run-
ning the Installation Verification Procedure) in Installation
          Guide:

You must complete all the required post-installation procedures
in Chapter 3 before running the IVP.

To run the IVP separately from the installation procedure,
invoke either of the following command procedures from the
system manager's account using a WPS-PLUS supported terminal:

o To run both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the IVP, enter the fol-
lowing command, substituting the installed language name for
             language:

             $ @SYS$TEST:WPLlanguage$IVP

The IVP procedure will display the following messages:

                      Executing IVP's for: WPS-PLUS for VMS V4.0
                      Beginning first phase of tests...

If the first phase has been successful, the IVP will continue
the second phase by displaying the following message:

                      Beginning second phase of tests...

then continue displaying the messages from Phase 2, as speci-
             fied in the next paragraph.

o To run only Phase 2 of the IVP, enter the following command
substituting the installed language name for language:

             $ @WPSPLUS$SYSTEM:WPLIVP language

If the installed language is omitted, the IVP asks the fol-
             lowing:

Do you wish to test your default 'language' WPS-PLUS system [YES]?

          								3

If you respond YES, the default language system is tested. If
you respond NO, the IVP asks which language you wish to test:

Which WPS-PLUS optional language system do you want to test?:

Phase 2 of the IVP takes approximately 15 minutes and the
             following messages are displayed:

                      Creating a WPS-PLUS directory...
                      Creating REQUIRED subdirectories...
                      Creating REQUIRED default .DAT files...
                      Creating REQUIRED user profile...
                      Set-up completerd for user: SYS$SYSROOT:[SYSTEST]

The following message is displayed when Phase 2 of the IVP is
             successful:

PHASE 2 for WPS-PLUS for VMS, Version 4.0, IVP

The following message is displayed if Phase 2 of the IVP
             fails:

	4

The following settings are the default for any WPS-PLUS user
running WPS-PLUS for VMS, Version 4.0, for the first time:

             o Language: system's default language.

             o Keyboard: LK201

o No Technical Character Set (TCS).

To change the default settings, the user must return to DCL
level and invoke WPSPLUS/LOGIN. The user can then enter new
             settings.

For more details about the WPSPLUS/LOGIN utility, refer to
