Outstanding things for the VMS Perl port

This is a list of some of the thing we still need to deal with for the VMS port of Perl. It is by no means an exhaustive list, so if there are things missing, please drop me some email.

There's a standing offer of a quart of Haagen Daaz icecream, a pint of homemade hot fudge sauce, and a dozen waffle cones for anyone who fixes one or more of the things on the list...

• flock() emulation
• POD to HTML target for DESCRIP.MMS
• libwww needs fixing to work well with VMS
• CPAN.pm module needs patching up to work with VMS
• shm*() and msg*() emulation functions
• UNIX domain socket emulation. (via mailboxes, I expect)
• Get Open2 and Open3 working
• Mailbox access (open and create)
• Build support for Gnu C
• Build support for Dec C++
• Get Gnu C on VAX to use the Dec C RTL
• PERLSHR.EXE compatibility across minor versions
• Global Section access
• Get the perl compiler frontend working/more VMSish
• Port Term::Readkey to VMS
