The configuration procedure E            (PWRK$CONFIG.COM) automatically upgrades server components D            and parameters. If the system is running a server versionE            previous to PATHWORKS V6.0B for OpenVMS (Advanced Server), E            you should upgrade the operating system to OpenVMS Version ?            7.2, and then upgrade the server to V6.0B before you /            install Advanced Server for OpenVMS.s  E            Compaq recommends the following migration path for systemsmB            running the PATHWORKS V5 for OpenVMS (LAN Manager) file1            server on OpenVMS Version 6.2 systems:   B            1. Upgrade the operating system to OpenVMS Version 7.1.  ?            2. InD               previous versions of the server software (for example,D               PATHWORKS for OpenVMS servers), the LANMAN.INI file isB               used to store server parameters. The Advanced ServerD               stores these parameters in the OpenVMS Registry, which4               is similar to the Windows NT Registry.  A               If you are upgrading a system from PATHWORKS V6 for.C               OpenVMS (Advanced Server) to Advanced Server V7.2 foreB               OpenVMS, the parameters and settings in the existingA               LANMAN.INI file are migrated to registry parametersdD               when you run the PWRK$CONFIG.COM initial configuration?               procedure. For more information, see Section 3.2,3F               Migrating LANMAN.INI Parameters to the OpenVMS Registry.  *         1.1.2.3 Upgrading OpenVMS Clusters  H               You can install the Advanced Server on any OpenVMS clusterE               member running OpenVMS Alpha Version 7.2, as long as no.F               other cluster members are running PATHWORKS for OpenVMS.D               If you are installing the Advanced Server on a clusterB               member node, you cannot run PATHWORKS V6 for OpenVMS@               (Advanced Server) or PATHWORKS V5 for OpenVMS (LAN=               Manager) on any other node in the same cluster.   E               The Advanced Server runs on OpenVMS Alpha systems only._C               If you are installing the Advanced Server in a mixed- C               architecture cluster (a cluster containing both Alpha D               and VAX members), you cannot continue to run PATHWORKSB               for OpenVMS on VAX members. You must reboot the system B            after installing the DECprint software.
