FOMI v2.0 - 1997-1999, Oscar van Eijk, OVEAS, oscar.van.eijk@oveas.netInstallation instructions-------------------------=To install OMI, create a directory which is open for read for6all users that need to access OMI (most likely WORLD).@Copy all files to the directory. Make sure the protection is set"to Read and Execute for the world.7Set default to the directory, and execute the procedure OMI$INSTALL.COMGThis procedure creates the HELP library, and repairs message datafiles,.which have been corrupted by the distribution.=Let all the users who will be using OMI execute the procedure>OMI$USER_INSTALL once. Installation is now complete. All users@can optionally change the behaviour of OMI by modifying the file*OMI$MENU.CFG, located in their SYS$LOGIN:.>To test OMI, you can use the example menu file OMI$EXAMPLE.MNUDwhich comes with this distribution. Start this menu with the commandOMI OMI$EXAMPLE.?This menu performs no other action than displaying information.DThe 'Protected menu' is protected with the password "test123456789".%(Note: passwords are case sensitive!)LMore information can be obtained from the online HELP and the documentation.E*** Note: This version includes an SQL toolbox; this one is currentlyG being developed, and probably useless for purposes other thanF those I've written the toolbox for; a small menu that can be5 used for simple actions on an RdB database.
