Section I: Command Scripter 1.0A Installation Instructions
This section describes requirements and procedures for installing Command Scripter 1.0A on a host system
running Tru64.

Note: Ensure that you have downloaded the Command Scripter 1.0A Tru64 UNIX version (Tru64V4 or
Tru64V5) that is compatible with your system.

A. System Requirements
--To install Command Scripter 1.0A on Tru64, you will need an account with superuser privileges.
--Command Scripter 1.0A is installed from CPQcmdscr.tar. For Tru64V4, the file is
Tru64V4_CPQcmdscr_10A.tar. For Tru64V5, the file is Tru64V5_CPQcmdscr_10A.tar. Identify the
location from which to run the .tar file if other than the system default location.
--Before installing SANworks Command Scripter 1.0A, ensure Command Scripter 1.0 has been installed
on the system. Command Scripter 1.0A will not install independently of Command Scripter 1.0.

B. Command Scripter 1.0A Installation

/bin/tar xf ./ Tru64V4_CPQcmdscr_10A.tar (for Tru64 V4)

Conventions:
Throughout the installation, messages that require input are displayed. For example:
Are you are ready to continue? [ y|n ] [ ? ](default= yes):). The "y|n" indicates that a yes or no
answer is required and the "default= yes" indicates that pressing the ENTER key will accept the yes
answer.

A question mark (?) indicates that installation help is available. Pressing the ? key and then the
ENTER key displays a help message and repeats the original question.

4. Review the License Terms, Limited Warranty, Allocation of Liability, and so forth.
If you agree to the terms, type y. Press ENTER.
If you do not agree to the terms, type n. Press ENTER. Installation terminates.
