DEC Threads NNTP Server for OpenVMS  - is RFC977 compliant, compact, and "light weight" news server for OpenVMS. It uses: DEC Threads, MadGoad NETLIB  for network I/O, RMS  for storing messages in database.

 

Other news servers for OpenVMS you can find  at NetWin LTD site (commercial, DNEWS  multiplatform server), and at ftp://kuhub.cc.ukans.edu/  (freeware, ANU NEWS reader and server).

Livingston's RADIUS 1.16 for OpenVMS - this is a remote authentication dial in user service (RADIUS), as described in RFC 2138. Original sources you can get from Livingston Enterprises,Inc web site.

Probably, your will be interested by other ports of Livingston RADIUS server at ftp://ftp.opus1.com/opus1/software/  (port accomplished by Joel Snyder), and ftp://Thuban.AC.HMC.Edu/radius/ (port accomplished by Roger Wiechman ), or  TACACS server for OpenVMS written by Aaron Leonard (see at ftp://ftp.cisco.com/pub/netmgmt/TACACS/ ).


Livingston's RADIUS 2.01 for OpenVMS - this is a latest version of  Livingston's server with a lot of VMS specific features! You can download port of Livingston RADIUS 2.01 from ftp://ftp.livingston.com/pub/le/contrib/radius/RADIUS201_VMS.ZIP

RADIUS Server for OpenVMS - a powerful and flexible solution for traditional ISP and 3G networks.

SMPP v3.4 API for OpenVMS - an interface library to perform an interaction with Short Message Service Center with a Short Message Peer-to-Peer protocol v.3.4. There you will find a some useful stuff for the MadGoat MX 5.x package.

A Cisco NETFLOW package for OpenVMS - a set of tools to collecting network traffic structure information with the Cisco NetFlow protocol (version 5).

A FreeTDS library for OpenVMS - an API implemented Tabular Data Stream protocol to interact with a M$ SQL and SyBase SQL Servers. CLI ISQL client for OpenVMS is included. Home site of the projext is www.freetds.org

A TFTP client - An OpenVMS version of the TFTP client based on RFC1350.

A StarLet POP3 Server - An OpenVMS version of the POP3 server (with SSL/TLS support) based on RFC1460 & RFC1939 & RFC2449 & RFC2595.
