Software License Descriptions ("SLDs")			November 2, 1994

The following is the complete set of Digital's SLDs.  The model number 
referenced is on the front of the license deliverable.  Additional terms may be 
included in the Software Product Description (SPD) or user documentation 
accompanying the Software.

A TRADITIONAL LICENSE (model number QL-*****-AA) for layered Software permits 
use of the Software on one specified hardware/operating system at a time.  The 
License Management Facility (LMF) "INCLUDE" option may be used to identify the 
single licensed system.  "Digital System Chart" details the permitted hardware 
systems. 

A TRADITIONAL LICENSE (model number QL-001**-A*) for OpenVMS permits use of the 
Software on one specified system.  

A CONCURRENT USE LICENSE (model number QL-*****-3*) permits a single execution 
or access of the Software at a time on one system or VAXcluster/VMScluster 
configuration at a time, and on a specified operating system.

A PERSONAL USE LICENSE (model number QL-*****-2*) permits use of the Software 
by one assigned person on one system or VAXcluster/VMScluster configuration at 
a time, and on a specified operating system.  30 day minimum license 
assignments are required, unless for system management.

An OPERATING SYSTEM BASE LICENSE (model number QL-*****-6*) permits batch, 
print, and file services as well as non-interactive display of information on a 
specified system.   When both the Base and SMP Extensions to the Base are 
offered, the Base license is required for the system's first processor, and the 
SMP Extension for each additional processor.

An INDIVIDUAL INTERACTIVE USER LICENSE (model number QL-XUL**-B* or 
QL-MT2**-B*) permits use of the Software by a specified number of users at a 
time on a single system at a time. A user, either a person or a device, is one 
that uses the software interactively under a single session.

A DISTRIBUTED INTERACTIVE USER LICENSE (model number QL-09S**-B*, QL-MT3**-B*, 
or QL-MT7**-B*) permits use of the Software by a specified number of users at a 
time on a single system or VAXcluster configuration or VMScluster configuration 
at a time. A user, either a person or a device, is one that uses the software 
interactively under a single session.

An OPERATING SYSTEM USER LICENSE (model number QL-*****-B* unless listed under 
INTERACTIVE USER LICENSES) permits use of the Software by a specified or 
unlimited number of users on a single specified system.  A user, either a 
person or a device, is one that uses the software interactively under a single 
session.

An APPLICATION DEPLOYMENT LICENSE (ADL) (model number QL-*****-W*) for OpenVMS 
permits use of the Software by a specified or unlimited number of users on a 
single specified system.  A user, either a person or a device, is one that uses 
the software interactively under a single session.  This license is restricted 
to use only with a Digital Business Partner's hardware and software 
applications.  It may not be used for software development.

An APPLICATION DEPLOYMENT USER LICENSE (ADUL) (model number QL-NBZ**-6*) for 
OpenVMS permits use of the Software by a specified or unlimited number of users 
on a MicroVAX 3100.  A user, either a person or a device, is one that uses the 
software interactively under a single session.  This license is restricted to 
use only with a Digital Business Partner's hardware and software applications.  
It may not be used for software development.

A DEVELOPER LICENSE (model number QL-*****-K*) permits use of the Software for 
purposes of demonstration and development of hardware and software applications 
defined in the Demonstration/Development Program Guidelines.  This license 
permits use of the Software only on the single workstation on which the 
Software is first used.  This license is limited to 12 months from the time of 
the license grant, but permits use of any version of the Software which is 
released during the term of the license.

An UPDATE LICENSE extends the rights of the underlying license to a subsequent 
version.
