          This cover letter includes information not found elsewhere in
          the X25router 2000 documentation. Please read this cover letter
          before you install or use the X25router 2000 software.

          The X25router 2000 software product runs on the DEC MicroServer
          (DEMSA) hardware unit or the DEC MicroServer-SP (DEMSB) hardware
          unit. The X25router 2000 software license is available as part
          of two packages:

             X25router 2000
             X25router 2000
             X25router 2000

             This package consists of the X25router 2000 software license
             and the DEC Microserver (DEMSA) hardware unit.

          o

             This package consists of the X25router 2000 software license
             and the DEC MicroServer-SP (DEMSB) hardware unit.

          Please note that although the X25router 2000 V1.1 documenta-
          tion contains references to the X25router 2000 V1.1 software
          running on the DEC MicroServer-SP (DEMSB), it does not contain
          references to the X25router 100.

          The X25router 2000 V1.1 supports both VMS and ULTRIX-32 load
          host systems. The X25router 2000 software documentation kit
          includes information relevant to both VMS and ULTRIX-32.

          Binder 1 for the VMS version of the product contains the
          X25router 2000 Installation Procedures (VMS), the P.S.I. Intro-
          duction and the Routing and Networking Overview. Please select
          the appropriate spine insert from the spine kit for this binder
          and ignore the spine insert which refers to the X25router 2000
          Installation Procedures (ULTRIX-32).

          The Public Network Information (AD-KL20A-TK) manual includes
          information about all the public networks supported by the
          X25router 2000 V1.1. Please note that this manual includes two
          updates:

          o  Addendum 1 (AD-KL20A-T1) contains information about PSDNs
             supported since the original manual was published. It also
             contains new front and back covers.

          o  Addendum 2 (AD-KL20A-T2) contains information about PSDNs
             supported since Addendum 1 was published.

          Please add and replace the appropriate pages of the Public
          Network Information manual using Addendum 1 before adding and
          replacing the pages using Addendum 2. This will ensure that
          your Public Network Information manual contains the latest
          information about supported PSDNs in the correct order.
