Page 2 The patch may be installed with the VMSINSTAL command procedure, as outlined in Chapter 3 of the VMS System Manager's Manual (AA-LA00A-TE), by using the command: $ @SYS$UPDATE:VMSINSTAL CSCPAT_0205 DEVICE:[VPA021.KIT] OPTIONS N Before applying the patch, check to see that VPA is no longer collecting data by using one of the following commands: $ ADVISE/COLLECT/STOP ! On each and every node or $ MC SYSMAN ! In a cluster environment SYSMAN> SET ENVIRONMENT/CLUSTER SYSMAN> DO ADVISE/COLLECT/STOP Once the patch is applied, collection can be restarted by one of the following commands: $ ADVISE/COLLECT/START !
