An online text file located in SYS$HELP:VIDAO$010.RELEASE_NOTES contains the most recent release notes. For information on installing DEC RdbAccess for ORACLE on VMS, please consult the DEC RdbAccess for ORACLE on VMS Installation Guide. You can use RdbAccess without being logged in on the same VAX processor that has RdbAccess installed. You can be on any other VAX/VMS system in the Digital network that has Rdb/VMS installed to access a node that has RdbAccess installed. This is called remote end user access. © Digital Equipment Corporation. 1990. All rights reserved. However, RdbAccess must be installed on the node that also has the ORACLE RDBMS installed, but the ORACLE database can be on a remote system. If you are using a system that has both RdbAccess and ORACLE installed, you can use remote ORACLE database access to access an ORACLE database on another system. © Digital Equipment Corporation. 1990.
