          Dear Customer:

          Please review the following information concerning your DEC-
          net/SNA VMS 3270 Data Stream Interface distribution kit.

          This package contains the DECnet/SNA VMS 3270 Data Stream Inter-
          face Version 1.4 software and user documentation. Please check
          the Bill of Materials to see that all the items listed are in
          your distribution kit. If any item is missing or damaged, please
          contact your Digital representative.

          The DECnet/SNA VMS 3270 Data Stream Interface Version 1.4 soft-
          ware supports VMS V5.0 or V5.1, and LMF requirements.

          The DECnet/SNA VMS 3270 Data Stream Interface Version 1.4 docu-
          mentation set includes the following:

          o  DECnet/SNA VMS 3270 Data Stream Interface Installation (AA-
             EV64C-TE)

          o  DECnet/SNA VMS 3270 Data Stream Interface Problem Solving
             (AA-NF58A-TE)

          o  DECnet/SNA VMS 3270 Data Stream Interface Programming (AA-
             ET84C-TE)

          o  On-line release notes

          If you need to order any additional documentation, contact
          your Digital sales representative or refer to the ordering
          information in the Software Documentation Products Directory.

          The DECnet/SNA VMS 3270 Data Stream Interface release notes are
          on line as part of the distribution kit. You should access the
          release notes because they may contain changes to the instal-
          lation procedure. To do this, specify OPTIONS N when you start
          VMSINSTAL:


               $ @SYS$UPDATE:VMSINSTAL SNA3270014 devcu:  OPTIONS N

          where:

          SNA3270014         is the product name.

          devcu              refers to your storage device, for example,
                             MUA0.

          OPTIONS N          allows you to display or print the release
                             notes, or you can copy them to SYS$HELP.
                             If you copy the release notes to SYS$HELP,
                             you can access them in the future under the
                             filename
                             SYS$HELP:SNA3270014.RELEASE_NOTES.
