Before You Install VAX RALLY Version 2.3

This package contains the VAX RALLY Development Option software
or the VAX RALLY Run-Time Option software. The package also
includes installation instructions and user documentation.

Before installing the software, read the Bill of Materials.
Check to see that all items listed on the Bill of Materials
are present in your kit. If any items are missing, contact your
DIGITAL representative.

Be sure that you have installed the correct versions of the pre-
requisite software before you install the VAX RALLY Development
Option or the VAX RALLY Run-Time Option. The versions for the
required and optional software are:

o  VAX RALLY Development Option

   -  VMS Version 5.2 (or higher)

   -  VAX Rdb/VMS Version 3.1B (or higher)

   -  VAX CDD/Plus Version 4.2 (or higher)

   -  VAX DATATRIEVE Version 5.1 (or higher); optional, but
      required for use of VAX DATATRIEVE at define time

   -  VAX DBMS Version 4.2 (or higher); optional, but required
      for use of VAX DBMS at define time

   -  VAX TEAMDATA Version 1.4 (or higher); optional, but re-
      quired for use of VAX TEAMDATA at define time

   -  ALL-IN-1 Version 2.3 (or higher); optional, but required
      for use of ALL-IN-1 at define time

 






   -  VAX Language-Sensitive Editor (LSE) Version 3.0 (or
      higher); optional, but required for use of callable LSE as
      the ADL editor

   -  VAX ACMS Version 3.1 (or higher); optional, but required
      for use of RALLY$ODI_ACMS example

   -  VAX COBOL Version 4.2-41A (or higher); optional, but
      required for use of RALLY$ODI_ACMS example

   -  RdbAccess for ORACLE Version 1.0 (or higher); optional,
      but required for use of ORACLE at run time

   -  RdbAccess for RMS Version 1.0 (or higher); optional, for
      use of RMS at run time

   -  VAX VIDA for DB2 Version 1.0A (or higher); optional, but
      required for use of DB2 at run time

   -  DECtrace for VMS Version 1.0A (or higher); optional, but
      required for use of DECtrace when running an application
