The sizes are approximate; actual sizes may vary depending on the user's system environment, configuration, and software options. Memory Requirements for DECwindows Support: A minimum of 8MB of memory is required on a workstation to operate DECpresent and VMS whether DECpresent is running on the workstation or on another processor. OPTIONAL HARDWARE DECpresent files can be printed using any Digital PostScript[R] printer, ScriptPrinter (LN03R), PrintServer 20, PrintServer 40, PrintServer 40 Plus laser printer, and for color PostScript, the Colormate PS. DECchart produces both monochrome and color PostScript. Monochrome PostScript can be printed using any Digital PostScript printers listed above. If the DEC GKS product, or runtime system is installed, and the CDA Converter Library is installed, the DDIF Graphics Hardcopy converter can be used to generate the color and monochrome sixel formats (printed on the Digital LJ250 Companion Color Printer) and the HPGL[TM] for- mat (printed on the Digital LVP16). If the DECprint Utility for PostScript to Sixel Printing for VMS is installed, DECchart PostScript output (either color or monochrome) can be printed on the Digital LJ250 Companion Color Printer. DECpresent will accept images scanned with the MD-300 Scanner. Optional Third Party Hardware For 35mm film recording, Digital refers the customer to the AGFA ChromaScript and AGFA film recorder or the Management Graphics Inc. Solitaire file recorder system. CLUSTER ENVIRONMENT This layered product is fully supported when installed on any valid and licensed VAXcluster* configuration without restric- tions. The PC DECwindows Display Facility is supported only on Intel 80286 and 80386 machines.
