     PRODUCT NAME:  VAX ISDN ACCESS, Version 1.1         SPD 31.24.01

     DESCRIPTION

     VAX ISDN ACCESS allows suitably configured DECnet-VAX nodes
     in a DECnet network to control connections to an ISDN network
     remotely at a DECnet node that is physically connected to the
     ISDN network running the VAX ISDN software. This type of node is
     called an ISDN connector node.

     The ISDN connector node is a DECnet-VAX node that is physically
     connected to a supported ISDN network via a Basic Rate Access
     (DEC ISDNcontroller 100/DIV32) and is running both VAX ISDN
     software and DECnet-VAX software.

     This node must be licensed for and running the VAX ISDN soft-
     ware. Refer to Software Product Description (SPD 31.23.xx)
     as well as DECnet-VAX, either end-node or full-function (SPD
     25.03.xx).

     INSTALLATION

     Digital recommends that a customer's first purchase of this
     software product include Digital Installation Services. These
     services provide for installation of the software product by an
     experienced Digital Software Specialist.

     Before installation of the software, the customer must:

     o  Previously have installed all requisite software and hard-
        ware, including terminals.

     Digital's Installation Services also require that the customer
     must:

     o  Make available for a reasonable period of time, as mutually
        agreed by Digital and the customer, all hardware, communi-
        cation facilities, and terminals that are to be used during
        installation.

     HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

     VAX, MicroVAX, VAXstation or VAXserver configuration as speci-
     fied in the System Support Addendum (SSA 31.24.00-x).

     SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

     VMS Operating System

     DECnet-VAX, (either end-node or full-function) both on the
     connector node(s) and on the node where installation occurs.

     VAX ISDN on at least one of the connector node(s).

     Refer to the System Support Addendum (SSA 31.24.00-x) for avail-
     ability and required versions of prerequisite software.

     LICENSE MANAGEMENT FACILITY

     This layered product supports the VMS License Management Facil-
     ity.

     License units for this product are allocated on a CPU-capacity
     basis.

     25.01.xx) or the License Management Facility manual of the VMS
     Operating System documentation set.

     SOFTWARE PRODUCT SERVICES

     SOFTWARE WARRANTY

     Warranty for this software product is provided by Digital with
     the purchase of a license for the product as defined in the
     Software Warranty Addendum of this SPD.
