          The installation procedure allows the user to install the
          drivers on a system, or to simply copy the sources off the kit,
          or both. The disk space requirements depend on the option the
          user selects:

          These block counts refer to the disk space required on the
          system disk. The sizes are approximate; actual sizes may vary
          depending on the user's system environment, configuration,
          software options selected, and any modifications by the user.

          OPTIONAL HARDWARE

          The number of additional DRB32s will depend on system config-
          uration and user's application. DRB32s can be configured on
          multiple VAXBIs. Refer to the VAX Systems and Options Guide for
          specifics.

          CLUSTER ENVIRONMENT

          This layered product is fully supported when installed on any
          valid and licensed VAXcluster* configuration without restric-
          tions. The HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS sections of this product's
          Software Product Description and System Support Addendum detail
          any special hardware required by this product.

          *  V5.x VAXcluster configurations are fully described in the
             VAXcluster Software Product Description (29.78.xx) and in-
             clude CI, Ethernet and Mixed Interconnect configurations.

          SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

          VMS Operating System V5.0 or greater

          VMS Operating System V5.0 supports DRB32 VMS DRIVER V3.0. This
          can include, but is not limited to V5.0, V5.1, V5.2, V5.3 and
          V5.4.

          VMS Tailoring

          The following VMS classes are required for full functionality of
          this layered product:

          o  VMS Required Saveset

          o  Programming Support

          o  System Programming Support

          o  Utilities

          o  Miscellaneous Files

          For more information on VMS classes and tailoring, refer to
          the VMS Operating System Software Product Description (SPD
          25.01.xx). OPTIONAL SOFTWARE

          In order to modify the test programs provided with the DRB32 VMS
          DRIVERS layered product, VAX FORTRAN at a minimum of V4.4 and
          VAX C at a minimum of V3.0.

          No optional software is necessary to modifiy the device drivers
          of the kit.

          GROWTH CONSIDERATIONS

          The minimum hardware/software requirements for any future ver-
          sion of this product may be different from the minimum require-
          ments for the current version.
