          Congratulations on your purchase of DECwrite/British for VMS,
          V1.1 -- Digital's compound document processing application.
          Before you install DECwrite, please take a moment to look
          over the following notes and be sure to review the product
          release notes before using DECwrite. You can print the
          release notes when you install DECwrite.
          Contents of the DECwrite Kit

          · Bill of Materials (BOM)
            Please read the BOM enclosed in this kit and check to see
            that you have received all items listed. If your kit is
            damaged, or if parts of the kit are missing, please call
            your Digital representative.

          · Media
            The media that you have ordered is enclosed with the
            DECwrite Installation Guide for VMS Systems.  This manual
            supplies the information you need to install DECwrite for
            VMS V1.1.

          · Different VMS Version Number

            The DECwrite V1.0 documentation makes reference to VMS
            V5.1, while the DECwrite V1.1 manuals refer to VMS 5.3-1.

          · DECwrite Software Product Description (SPD)
            The DECwrite SPD provides a description of the DECwrite for
            VMS V1.1 product and its features.


          · Software Performance Report (SPR)
            Under the conformance warranty, use this form to report any
            problems with DECwrite for VMS V1.1 with regards to
            nonconformance to the SPD.

          · Graphics Library
            DECwrite V1.1 supplies a complimentary library of
            Encapsulated PostScript clipart graphics.
